Recently, Anzhi Book Club team organized another support education event at Xintian Wanquan Primary School at Liling county in Hunan Province. The supporting team was centered around animation and poem appreciation this time. In the meantime, the team conducted a student reading survey in hope to understand the current reading condition at Liling county and to provide needed support for the students ultimately.

During the classes, the supporting “teachers” lightened the classroom with various teaching activities, through which the students at Xintian Wanquan Primary School practiced on verbal expression and language and also experienced appreciation on early Chinese animation and poem culture. After the classes, WHBC administrative stuff came to the school library and followed up with the book donation project. Students all enjoyed and appreciated the reading library and books, which proved the great value of the book donation project. A follow-up step was a survey on students’ reading interests in order to better cater their reading needs.

It is a great honor for WHBC IBMYP group to provide voluntary support education for whom in need. The student “teachers” experienced and were truly engaged in social dedication through the event. We sincerely wish and encourage all WHBC students to continue cultivating social dedication and responsibility spirit.
